agni

One of my favorite knives I've made to date, this build was simple in concept but difficult in execution. The goal was to create a knife that had enough flair but still retain a visual balance that I try to keep for all my knives. The koa is stunning - there's the usual curls with high-grade wood but there's also more interesting figure in this piece. The hamon is one of the wispiest I've done and lands exactly where I want with plenty of edge life.

Agni means fire, and it implies the Hindu god of fire.
