My cousin Gretchen Lee is fighting breast cancer. The Blackout Outdoor knife I raffled for my cousin's cancer benefit is up for sale. The original winner of the raffle generously offered to have it for sale to further raise funds for the benefit. I'm astounded by the love I'm seeing from everyone, thank you all so much.
To keep things simple, I'm making it a straight up sale.
This is only knife I have on hand at this immediate moment. This is my baby, one of my most cherished knives I have ever made. It was made for the 2015 TMS Bladesmithing competition while I was in college and required all sorts of sciency documentation and metallography. Is this my best knife? No, it's far from perfect, but I love it that much. 52100 outdoor chopper, bainitic spine, martensitic edge - black G10 with black C-Tek handle. I've been incredibly reserved about using it since completion three years ago, and I actually finally sharpened it and got it ready for what it was made for, and now I'm letting it go to something that's important.
