Carbon chef’s knife with a black and orange theme
One of my more classic shapes with a slight variation – it has a longer but narrower handle, and the taper on the handle only goes partway. This pushes the balance slight a little further back than my usual knives to right around the heel/plunge. This handle is black and orange G10, inspired by the KTM motorcycle theme (seriously, they’re just so modern and aggressive looking).

Make sure you are aware of the care required for carbon steels (it’s pretty easy, just wipe it after cutting something, hand wash, and wipe dry before storing. It will get a patina).
