These two knives were made for a sushi chef in Oregon, one of my favorite people in the world. The bubblewrap stainless damascus was made by Devin Thomas, and provided by the client for the project. He had been saving the material for years for the right knife, and I had the honor of making the pair for him.
The W2 sujihiki is a thick slicer with a strong distal taper. The bubblewrap gyuto is also a workhorse, but aimed to be general purpose gyuto.
The handle material is matching lightning strike carbon fiber.
