52100, 1084, 15n20, this damascus blade was one of the first forged with my hydraulic press. It’s a loose random cladded construction with 52100 primarily at the edge. Mild S-grind with a substantial spine thickness and subtle distal taper.
A large, wide blade, with a thicker handle to suit. The handle shape is my fluted handle, my best design and most difficult to execute. The vision is to almost make a sculpture, an organic feeling handle to flow from the blade.
