2400 layers of damascus, 2 layers of nickel. This is a beastly chef’s knife that I have been wanting to make for a while.
It features my classic tapered hexagon handle with a nice convex grind. I wanted all of the weight up front, which was tricky because of the full-tang construction and heavy carbon fiber copper material. To do that the handle has been internally pocketed, with the tang skeletonized and tapered. The result is the balance point landing at the end of my signature.
